Vito's Story

Vito was born on March 17th, 2022 at 4:22pm in Pennsylvania, USA. He is the beloved son of Anthony and Dominique, and the big brother to baby Frankie.

Welcome to Vito's story. On March 1st, 2024, God brought Vito home. Our lives are forever changed, and our hearts are forever shattered. Vito was a true angel on earth. He always reminded his family to pray before meals either by grabbing their hands or doing the sign of the cross. He told everyone "peace" in church without being told to do so. He had heaven in his eyes, and was the silliest, kindest, happiest little boy. He had the most beautiful laugh and smile. There are a lot of things Vito loved: the color blue, Jack Skellington, dogs, the beach, bath time, brushing his teeth, coloring, (especially with his Mr. Potato Head coloring kit), balls, his building blocks, naming his colors, playing hide and seek with dada, and cuddling with mama. His one true love was going to the creek to throw rocks in the water, hence the name "Vito's Rocks."

The name Vito means "life" in Latin, and Vito was full of life. We created this site to keep Vito's memory alive, to tell his story, to share his life, and to raise awareness. Although he was only on this earth for a miniscule 23 months, he had an impact on so many people. He spread nothing but joy and love to everyone he met. He never turned down a hug or a high five, and he'd tell anyone and everyone he loved them.

Vito has a big family, filled with many cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents all who love him dearly. He was preparing to be the best big brother when he went to be with the Lord. He was constantly giving his mama's belly kisses, rocking and patting his own stuffed animals, and getting all the diaper changing necessities when asked. Although he didn't get to meet his little brother Frankie here on earth, we know he is always here, protecting and visiting him along with the rest of the family.
